My father and his siblings recall her wearing her pearl necklaces on several occasions. I found bags of her costume jewelry and a large portion were variations of cheap pearls - some in a classic white, some gold, some silver.

I heard the story of the pearl necklace she wore for her wedding - it was a string of pearls her oldest brother brought from Japan for her to wear. They were one of her most prized possessions.
